Our turkey venture started in 2020. We hand raised our three hens and then we welcomed our tom, Thompson in January of 2021. These turkeys have made quite the fun addition to our farm. We enjoy hearing the unique sounds that they produce and seeing all of their individual personalities. They are also excellent alarms to dangers that might be lurking in the yard. Unfortunately we had a predator surprise all but one of our turkey hens in the middle of the night. We have our one single hen, Speckles who now lives with her chicken friends and keeps our rooster in check, haha. We are looking to repopulate our flock and once again offer chicks for sale.
